Welcome to our New website
We are happy that you chose to view this Website and we hope that you find your visit informing and useful to you. There are many changes from the previous site, some very obvious and some behind the scenes.
One change you should notice immediately is that there are several more pages in the Website. One change that will not be so obvious but you will come to appreciate. That change is a redundancy in the menus and the links so that various pages can be reached by different routes
There will be certain areas that can be maintained and edited by designated administrators so that the site will be easily updated without referring work to the Webmaster or other information technologist.
In addition there will be a multi-layered security system for members only which will include pages designated to member organizations.
There will be a "Contact Us" method that will allow visitors to e-mail many of us while personal e-mail addresses will remain hidden. There will be complete lists of member organizations and the board of directors.
The emergency response subcommittee will have there own "Mine Rescue" section. It will include information and photos on the Alberta Mine Rescue Competition.
The quarterly injury statistics that are normally submitted by member companies by e-mail will be kept online allowing members to submit their data from within the Website. Reports will be available online as well.
The site will have an area where recent safety bulletins can be posted and where members can share and exchange ideas.
The last feature will be the integration of the Supervisor Education Program into the Website. Course participants will be able to access course information through links on the Website and complete their exams online.
Current course administrators will have the tools online to administer their own organization's programs.
